AMD Ryzen (2025-06)
Upgraded the desktop to the highest-end AM4 APU AMD Ryzen 5700G for 120 Euros as someone was interested in the 4650G Pro for his media center for like 100 Euros. Admittedly, the 5700G seems to run a bit hotter – or should I just get a new thermal paste?
AMD Ryzen (2020-11)
Aiming at a pretty quiet setup for my box and not finding adequate used parts in the non-Intel compartment, 2020 gave me:

Components were around 40 + 30 + 40 (used) + 120 + 200 Euros, then.
Replaced my docked ThinkPad X220, running hot in "locked down" summer 2020, especially when connected to an external WQHD display.
Packaging of Dell displays is such a pleasure (easy to handle, no styro). Currently enjoying 120Hz on a 27" UHD 4K S2725QS.
Still happily typing on my tenkeyless LionCast LK20 with Cherry MX Brown. ThinkPad Travel Mouse.
